H.E.A.R.T. Program Hall of Fame
Since the inception of the H.E.A.R.T. Program in 2006, we have exceeded our goals and count among our accomplishments:
- Have enrolled over 75 participants in training
- Have placed over 45 trainees in jobs in community settings
- Have placed and are servicing 20 vending machines in the community.
- Received the Mayor’s Proud Partner Award for Recycling in 2006
Have successfully participated in major events in the community including the following:
- Houston Rockets, general concessions all season
- The Shell Houston Open
- Toyota Center, Papa John’s pizza preparation
- “Rock The Bayou” four-day festival of rock concerts
- The River Oaks Tennis Tournament
- The Go Green Rally at Houston City Hall
- The Police concert at Toyota Center
- Local fairs and festivals, including Cinco de Mayo and the Autism Society Fair
With many more events currently scheduled.
